Bude Courtyard Garden
This small courtyard in Bude was redesigned to give the family an attractive usable outside space in which to sit and make the most of the sun. The planting was chosed to suit both sun and the shade which was cast by the four walls enclosing the courtyard as the sun moved around throughout the day.

St Kew Highway Gardens Completed
The planting for both the front and back gardens at St Kew Highway are now completed. For the front garden and driveway the client wanted a contemporary look with curving lines and a statement lawn. The driveway had to be wider and more funtional, with hedging and some soft, but colourful planting.

We also found hidden in the undergrowth some old, but funky retro pots which we replanted.
Compare the end result with original front garden below.
You can see the transformation of the back garden below. Wrap around paving allows the client can follow the sun during the day. Climbing roses, clematis and wisteria will clothe the timber frame in time. The planting includes many plants with stem interest and beautiful foliage to provide all year round interest and colour. A new everygreen hedge replaces the old collapsed Cornish hedge with overgrown shrubs, and this will soon hide the boundary fence. The lawn provides a soft and green centre to the garden, somewhere for the kids to play.

St Kew Highway Garden Project
The first design project of the year is at St Kew Highway. It has been a complete transformation with the old neglected garden being cleared right out and starting from scratch with the new design. The rain in Feb delayed and hampered progress but with the recent dry spell planting could go ahead and is now well underway.
